About Our Founder

With a background in research and eight years as an active biohacker, I was just trying to fix my coffee issues—acid reflux, caffeine sensitivity, and mid-day crashes. I never intended to start a company; I just needed something that worked for me.

But when studies revealed Lion’s Mane mushroom’s neuroprotective benefits—and with Alzheimer’s running in my family—I began sending my mom a monthly bag.

She shared it with her friends, who noticed improvements in joint inflammation, and before I knew it, I was making eight bags a month.

That’s when I thought, “Maybe others could benefit from this too?” and Habitual Herbs was born.

What Does Habitual Herbs Mean?

Our brand name stems from our founder's goal to seamlessly incorporate healthy herbal supplements into existing habits, like your morning coffee routine.

Inspired by the 'habit cycle' from 'Atomic Habits,' our founder recognized that creating a new habit is easier when tied to an existing cue.

Since many people already enjoy morning coffee, by adding herbal supplements to this routine, there's no need to remember to take them daily like with medication or vitamins. Instead, just switch your brand of coffee.
